I don't have many qualms about much of anything in life but the deli manager in this place is ridiculously rude, careless and seems to have little to no knowledge of how to service a customer or treat her coworkers/employees. On several occasions she has been, in my opinion, proved unfit to work in the food service industry. I do admit the convenience of a local market is appreciable but I will no longer buy from the deli while this person is managing.
It's a nice store. It's not as cheap as Walmart but you don't have to drive to Rockford or Freeport either. We're happy. Staff are always helpful. Jessica is a delight and always stops to chat with my children. Good service is a huge selling point.
